Hiking at the CM Ranch

The diverse terrain of the area surrounding the CM Ranch allows for hiking from an easy trek to an all day adventure. Leaving straight from the ranch hikers can access unique areas such as Jakey's Fork Falls or Crystal Cave. The main trailhead leading into the Fitzpatrick Wilderness is just a short drive away. The wilderness and game trails of the area can lead you to places with the most spectacular views all wihin a day's time.

If you are an early riser, join us for a sunrise hike at 6:30 AM along our amazing ridgeline.  Take in 360 degree views from the Jakey's Fork Canyon to the Badlands.  We promise to have you back before breakfast!  The CM also has access to some of the largest petroglyphs around.  While taking a break from riding on Wednesday afternoon, join us for a tour of the petroglyphs or a short hike to Glacier Falls in the Fitzpatrick Wilderness.

Guided hiking is available daily.  The options are endless, so if you love to hit the trails with your own two feet don't forget your hiking shoes.
