The best way to see the Wyoming countryside is from the back of a horse, and there is no better area for fishing and sight-seeing than the spectacular Wind River Mountains.

A scenic horseback ride will take you to our deluxe tent camp near Moon Lake. Several tents surround the main cook tent, where an experienced packer and cook devote themselves to the comfort of our guests.

From base camp, it is an easy distance for day rides and hikes to other clear mountain lakes in the Fitztpatrick Wilderness. There are endless possibilities for exploring, discovering, and photographing historical Union Pass, which surrounds the camp and was an early trading ground for fur trappers and Indians.

From the nearby Continental Divide, you can see many of the major peaks of the Wind River Range, including Gannett Peak, the highest mountain in Wyoming, and Three Rivers Mountain, which provides the headwaters for the Columbia, Missouri and Colorado Rivers.

Pack Trip Rates
$230 per person/per day
$85.00 per person/per day if taken during a regular ranch stay
Spot trips and gear drops: $150 per each horse used.

Applicable Wyoming sales tax and 15% gratuity are added to final bill.
